Buying Your First Home Should Be Fun - Not an adventure!
Our friends at Wikipedia define Adventure as follows:
An adventure is an activity that comprises (perceived) risky, dangerous or uncertain experiences. The term is often used in reference to physical activities that have some potential for physical danger, such as skydiving, mountain climbing, and extreme sports. However, the term also broadly refers to any enterprise that is potentially fraught with physical or psychological risk, such as a business venture, a love affair, or other major life undertakings.
As real estate agents, Janice and I don't think that words like dangerous or uncertain should be associated with a real estate transaction and the risks involved with activities like skydiving and mountain climbing should left to extreme sports enthusiasts.

Hi Mark, Love the picture! Very fine article. Yes, buying your first home should be fun. There is nothing like home ownership to boost one's moral!
Your right it should be fun. However isn't a home sale or purchase listed as one of the 5 most traumatic events in your life-time?
thats a nice call to action - and the picture does the trick! :-)
Great picture, I don't necessarily agree with Wikipedia's definition and doesn't have to be dangerous especially if you have a good guide------ your local real estate agent
If you take me to a house and those tiki Gods are in the front yard, I certainly would be turning around faster than you could unlock the door! I've been to that house where all the door handles inside the house were skulls and there was a snake going across the floor, that door closed real quick!
