I found this at a job site where I was volunteering. If it weren't so sad, it would be comical. This home has sat vacant for over 15 years. The owner has Alzheimer's disease and left the home to sit when her husband died in 1995. Yes, that IS a big spider!
This is what it looked like when I got there.

Mark~ Did you pull up a chair and sit for awhile? Looks quite cozy!
Mark - That is truly sad. It looks like it was probably a cozy place filled with friends and family years ago.
Wow.. we have all been in these homes.. time to get to work with cleaners, interior decorators and stagers...
Darren - This one was beyond the help of cleaners and interior decorators. We staged this with a sledge hammer.

YUK! It reminds me of the duplexes we used to rent after evicting a tenant! I didn't want to go in it was so bad! Yes, I did go in, and the job did get done, but what a disgusting mess to have to deal with.
