ECO-Terrorism in Vancouver, Washington?

ECO-Terrorism in Vancouver, Washington?

vancouver wa real estate
I found this yesterday on the side of a new home being built here in Vancouver, Washington. While I applaud the message, I can't condone the method. Also, I can't help but wonder if the culprit used low VOC paint with a HVLP sprayer to minimize any unnecessary pollution during the caper! Before any of you start accusing Vancouver, Washington's first "Green Certified" real estate agent (me!), no, I didn't do it and you can't prove anything anyhow! Just kidding!

Interesting, mild in comparison to some of the stuff I have seen.  At least they painted the plywood and not the siding.  Good point on the paint used...made me laugh! :)

Funny comments on the paint. Agree with the other commenter that this is pretty mild stuff, but Eco-terrorism isn't doing anyone any favors. It hurts those who are advocating for the environment as it gives more fodder for groups that oppose environmental comments.

It is amazing how many people think this is alright. Like the idiot that blew up those trucks a few years ago. He did more damage to the environment by blowing up those trucks and burning those tires, than those trucks ever could have done to the environment.

Todd- Love the comment about the paint! Too bad people have to go to these extremes...hopefully it was just the contrractor advertising what he does!!!

Mark,  that's kind of amusing.  :)  If you find out how it got there, let us know.  Please?

Mark - I am going to guess no. Are there other "green" certified agents in Vancouver?

Ha!  You'd think the lockdown on spray paints at your local building center would stop the teens from graffiti, but apparently not the 'eco-terrorists' -

Todd... You mean Tre Arrow? He actually seemed like a kind of smart [crazy] guy until he admitted to igniting the parking lot of new cars.  Just think of how much credibility he lost among his peers not to mention the general public who now sees him as unbelievably insane.

Mike - I am not sure of the number of Earth Advantage certified real estate agents in Vancouver, Wa. I know that there are only 10 of us in all of Washngton State. The certification course is offered in Portland, Or. and I was the first agent in Washington to sign up.

The comment on the "low VOC paint with a HVLP sprayer" made me chuckle too.
